Elino data methodology

This page explains how opportunities, daily rates and market indicators are collected, normalized, aggregated and published.

Collection and normalization

Opportunities are normalized into versioned taxonomies for technologies, roles, locations, contracts, seniority and work mode. Known source duplicates are removed.

Window and freshness

Programmatic pages currently use a rolling 45-day window. Displayed freshness comes from the data snapshot, never merely from the build date.

Daily-rate calculation

A rate is used only when a daily-rate field is present and parseable between €150 and €2,500. A range uses its midpoint; annual and ambiguous amounts are excluded. Median and quartiles use observed values without extrapolation.

Quality score

The score combines opportunity volume, rate observations, distinct companies, geographic coverage and freshness. A page needs 60/100 and at least five opportunities to become indexable.

IT Health Market

The index compares volume, momentum, recruiter breadth and effective role diversity against a consistent history. Confidence depends on history depth and weekly volume.

Limitations

Public postings are a sample. Many omit rates or salaries. Collection changes can influence volume, so Elino publishes sample size and snapshot date with each statistic.
